Cadets

Cadets is an innovative program which provides the structure necessary for positive growth  for boys from 4th-8th grade. The Bible says that “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” That is the primary goal for the boys involved in Cadets. A group of Christian men serve as mentors for the boys to assist them in growing in all areas of life—spiritual, mental, physical, and social.

Cadets meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 7-9 p.m. in the building of our sister church, New Life Christian Reformed Church of Highland (corner of Ridge Rd. and 5th St.). In addition to twice monthly meetings the Cadets also host campouts, soapbox derbies, and a number of other interesting events.

The Cadet program runs from September through April.
