Prayer Team

First Church is a praying church. We believe that prayer matters—that God wants to hear what is on our heart and that he will answer us.

The First Church Prayer Team is a group of individuals committed to meeting weekly to pray for the specific needs of others. Anyone seeking prayer for a particular issue in their life may fill out one of the Prayer Cards found in the benches or at the Welcome Center and place it in the Prayer Box at the Welcome Center.

Those filling out a Prayer Card may indicate whether they want their request to remain confidential and if they would like it to go to the Prayer Team, the pastoral staff, or both.

Those requesting prayer are also welcome to drop by the Prayer Room down the hall on the west end of the foyer before or after each Sunday morning worship service to meet with members of the Prayer Team.

The Prayer Team meets every Wednesday evening at 7 in the Prayer Room to offer prayers on behalf of our church family and community.  Anyone is welcome to attend.
