Friendship Class

Friendship is a ministry specifically designed for adults and teens with developmental disabilities. Friendship provides a warm and nurturing environment where participants can build relationships with each other while learning about God’s love for them.

Friendship meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month in the First Church Social Hall at 7 p.m. from fall through spring. Friendship involves volunteers of all ages who come to tell stories, perform skits, provide music, bake, make crafts, or to simply lend a hand, a smile, or share a hug. Friendship meetings are also open to friends and family members of those who are developmentally disabled.
